Reviews on REBECCA R CALLIS
I am so pleased with Dr Callis. She is very reassuring about the progression of my RA... gives me a lot of hope for the future and she jumps righ on things... makes you feel like she takes her job and my care very seriously!
I got stuck in traffic heading to appointment with Dr. Callis so I called and told the receptionist I might be a minute or two late. She said no problem. I get there 1 minute past my appointment and am told by the snotty ofice person that I am late and can't be seen. Unbelievable. I would NEVER go there again!
Fair Dr. Does good job to explain treatment and diseases. Wish I could continue seeing her.
Lack of communication regarding treatments. She does not take to questions regarding her diagnosis or treatments, well (ie she knows best so do as you are told). Issues returning call to patients whom call the office with questions, took up to a week to get a return call many times. Issues with staff getting correct info from patient phone call right. One of two doctors I have had in my life that I would never deal with again.
I did not have any problems. I don't have any insurance and they see me. They just wanted a referral from my primary before they would let me make an appointment.
I was referred by Salem Hospital Emergency Room for a follow up appointment. Dr. Rebecca Callis' office staff politely told me that there is no possible way that I could be seen. I don't have a primary care provider or health insurance. I am a single mother of three and work full time. Unfortunately my employer does not offer benefits. I do not qualify for the Oregon Health Plan. I was diagnosed with RA when I was 23 and this has been my story over and over again. My body is becoming more grossly damaged as time goes by. I am now 36. I have the money to pay for these services and still cannot even make an appointment...How is that OK.
