This was hands down the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. I came to Ariel Grobman with breathing issues and he assured me that surgery would significantly improve my breathing. He made big promises, but after surgery, not only did nothing improve, things actually got worse. When I expressed concerns during my follow-ups he dismissed them and told me to wait a year for the “normal healing process”.
One and a half years later, I call in to schedule the follow-up he promised and he wants to charge me again for another consultation after already billing tens of thousands of dollars. It honestly feels like dealing with a shady used car salesman who sells you a broken car, then offers to “fix it” for more money.
After explaining my situation to the office manager, the office manager informed me that Ariel has decided to abandon me as a patient. It’s been over two weeks and I have yet to receive any written notice or assistance in locating another practitioner.
Avoid this doctor unless you enjoy empty promises, poor results, lack of professionalism and appointments filled with Ariel bragging about his upcoming trips to Mexico.
