  Review for ADULT WELLNESS CLINIC LLC

  In May 2025, my 85-year-old mother, who has a heart pacemaker and high blood pressure, was attending the Adult Wellness Center. She had been personally instructed by the owner of the center to attend the place two more times However, when she arrived at the transportation bus, the driver—citing the owner's decision—refused to allow her on board.
  
  Although my mother was simply following the instructions she had been given, she was left standing on the street in front of her neighbors and other members of the Wellness Center. She began to cry from the embarrassment. Since that incident, neighbors have continued to ask her about what happened, and she now feels so ashamed that she would rather move out of the building. Unfortunately, at her age, relocating is very difficult, so she remains in the same residence. The actions of the Wellness Center caused her emotional distress. To this day, the company has not issued any apology.
  
  I have reported this incident to Buckeye Health Insurance. In my opinion, there are questionable practices taking place at that center. I would recommend an investigation into why so many members are reported to have the maximum number of service hours, and why the center’s owner found it acceptable to treat a senior citizen in such a humiliating way, causing her to cry in public.
