    Review for SHARON G GREGORCYK

I am very unhappy with the services I received from the Doctor. I had two anal procedures where she had to cut off two different anal tares, I had hanging off my anus. the first procedure went very well. She made a very offensive and unprofessional joke about the pain medication she was going to prescribe me before the procedure started. Laughing as she said, "now don't chicken out of going through with the procedure after I call in your pain medication or I'm going to call the pharmacy and have a talk with them as she laughed". I was very offended, to me it came across as if I was some sort of drug seeker that would have her call in medication and then cancel the procedure just so I can get drugs. I am an African American 44-year-old well established woman with a great job and no drug history. So, for a doctor to make that kind of comments was off putting. That procedure went well, and the medication she prescribed really did minor help for the pain I suffered over the new few weeks of healing. I didn't even address it with her because her comment had already made me feel uncomfortable. I had a follow up appointment two weeks later and at that appointment I address the unprofessional comment she made and how it made me feel as a new patient. She apologized and I felt like maybe I was overreacting or being too sensitive. A month later I decided to go back to her to have the second anal tare removed. This procedure was not smooth as the first and more intense as it required stitches on both sides of my anus. The pain was unbearable and a few days later I came back to have her cut some of the stitches as I felt they were put in to tightly. My cut and swollen tissue was swelling in between the stitches. She took only 5 minutes during this appointment to see me, speak with me, and cut the threads. I felt rushed out and uncared for. I waited about 4 days and called her office back and told her I'm almost out of pain meds and the tissue around my anus is so swollen I cannot sit or stand basically almost do anything without being in pain. I said before you call in any more pain meds please let me come in so you can at least examine me and see what I am telling you. At this point the cut threads were hanging out of my tissue and the tissue was literally so swollen it covered my entire anus. I was fit in to see her 2 days later. This appointment she only took 5 minutes again to visit with me. She was rushing through my concerns, very dismissive about my suffering and told me she was busy. This is no way to treat a human being that is your patient and has top of the line insurance - that you have just cut all side of her anus. Who would want a doctor to cut you then dismiss any of your pain, concerns and emotion state. I leave this review hoping that it will help the next person not suffer through the care of a doctor that is checked out to what patient care should be. We are not talking about a mild procedure - just imagine the pain and suffering one goes through when having their anus tissue cut open and stitched on both sides. Not to mention I have a sit-down job that I work 13-hour days. I would not wish this type of treatment on anyone. Thank you
