I thought the days of finding an outstanding Dr. that took their time, answered your questions, and actually LISTENED to your concerns, or even really cared about you as a patient was long gone! It’s been years since I have found one like that… but then Dr. Brent Hoffman came into my life- that kind of Dr. that you know immediately is different! Not the run of the mill “ sheep-herder”, “ run them in, get them out” mentality that most Drs now have. Dr Hoffman comes into the room with a quiet self confidence, assurance in his skill and ability, and a perceptible caring spirit. His calmness conveys to his patient! He LISTENS!! Direct eye contact listens- not “ I’ll listen as I finish the exam” - he will stop, look you in the eye and discuss your concerns or answer your question! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DR. He takes times to explain what’s going on with your situation, what procedures he recommends (and WHY) alternate solutions if feasible, recovery- what to expect, ALL OF IT!! The BEST DR. I’ve met in years!!! I’m so blessed to have had him do my surgeries!
