Back at the end of April of 2025, I had to go to the emergency room regarding an episode I was having. So I went to a satellite office of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital close to home. The bill was filed with my insurance, and various checks were mailed to settle the account. However, the physican's bill was not included in the packet that was sent to my insurance. And some time later I received a final notice regarding the doctors bill, I called my insurance and was told there was no bill from the doctor included in the packet. I am requesting that Acadiana Acute Care Associates submit the doctors bill to my insurance before I begin any other action on this matter. I am very disappointed in this situtation, and want it resolved as soon as possible. They have threatened to turn this over to a collection agency if not paid within 10 days.
