I was terrified at the thought of having yet another surgery, but Dr. Ahmed and his team’s treatment comforted me and provided light when I was at my darkest point of recovery. Even as a litigious professional, Dr. Ahmed impressed me thoroughly.
Dr. Ahmed has been a spectacular orthopedic surgeon in his treatment to fuse my wrist. I came to him with my wrist looking like a question mark and could not open or flex my fingers on that hand. He has consistently been exceptionally knowledgeable, informative and empathetic. Dr. Ahmed’s team (cast room guys, nurses, intake, x-ray techs, etc.) has been exemplary in following his lead and treating me in a like manner.
I am so grateful to have found him through the Baylor/CHI St. Luke’s facility along with Dr. Granberry. I did a considerable amount of research about my disability and chose Dr. Ahmed, conscientiously. I would urge you to consult with him for your orthopedic needs. I will never forget the gift of health and the degree of self-functioning he was graced on me.
His treatment has moved me to tears at some points, and I’m not usually a crier. I look forward to his appointments and he has never disappointed me. He worked a miracle for me.
The after-care has also buoyed me up. The screws are firmly and accurately placed. Other doctors and physical/occupational therapists and x-ray technicians who have treated me throughout my recouperation are similarly impressed with the artistry of his surgery. Now I can manipulate my fingers to an extent I could never have imagined. He is simply, amazing. Best health to you all.
