As the father of a boy in hospice, I cannot express enough how much Dr. Gyani’s care has meant to our family. She brought a calm and compassionate presence that immediately made him feel safe. She also treated him like a child who still deserved joy, dignity, and gentleness.
Dr. Gyani always took the time to explain every step of his care in a clear, patient way. She never rushed me, and she always checked to make sure I understood what was happening. She spoke directly to my son, too, even when he was too tired to respond, letting him know he was heard and respected.
What stood out most was the way she showed up beyond her medical duties. She sat with us during difficult moments and paid attention to the little details that helped him feel at peace.
Dr. Gyani made an unbearable situation just a little more bearable. I will always be grateful for her kindness and dedication.
Dr. Priya Gyani has been a true extension of our ohana during this challenging journey. Her care goes beyond just medical expertise—she’s embraced our family as a whole, understanding not only our daughter's needs but the emotional and spiritual well-being of each of us. In Hawaiian culture, ohana means family, and Dr. Gyani has embodied this concept fully, making sure we feel supported, heard, and never alone. She treats us with the same love and respect as if we were her own family, guiding us through each decision with compassion, patience, and a deep understanding of what we’re facing. Our daughter feels seen, loved, and cared for, and we, as parents, feel uplifted and empowered. Dr. Gyani has truly become an essential part of our ‘ohana, helping us navigate this difficult path with grace and peace.
