As the father of a boy in hospice, I cannot express enough how much Dr. Gyani’s care has meant to our family. She brought a calm and compassionate presence that immediately made him feel safe. She also treated him like a child who still deserved joy, dignity, and gentleness.
Dr. Gyani always took the time to explain every step of his care in a clear, patient way. She never rushed me, and she always checked to make sure I understood what was happening. She spoke directly to my son, too, even when he was too tired to respond, letting him know he was heard and respected.
What stood out most was the way she showed up beyond her medical duties. She sat with us during difficult moments and paid attention to the little details that helped him feel at peace.
Dr. Gyani made an unbearable situation just a little more bearable. I will always be grateful for her kindness and dedication.
